NEW YORK, United States - We are proud to announce the launch of our latest initiative 'West Africa to the West,' a series focused on West African artisanal heritage and creative confidence connecting to a global consumer. To coincide with the start of New York Fashion Week, the program will highlight young new designers Kenneth Ize, Shekudo, and Zashadu in a concept shop and moderated discussion led by our chief editor. 

In partnership with cultural producer NURU, the experience will unveil a collaborative visual installation and a short film debut focused on the creative process behind these hand-crafted designs and the industry players shaping the landscape. As the growing demand for artisanal heritage continues to mount, African brands are meeting the challenge with unparalleled talent that appeals to a discerning shopper across the globe. The evening will conclude with a concept shop, featuring our curated assortment of the very best of ready-to-wear, accessories, and footwear from West Africa.
