Mimi Plange's Take on Interior Design
ATLANTA, United States - Celebrated for her sartorial imagination, designer Mimi Plange tackles yet another genre with equal panache - that of interior design. With a collection of original irreverent and playful wallpaper coverings - think watercolor monkeys with butterfly wings atop blossoming vintage florals - Plange is sure to make the decor of one's guest bathroom or even private boudoir whimsical in fancy.
This is not Plange's first foray into interior design. In 2016, she partnered with Roche Bobois on a series of six custom seat coverings for their iconic Mah Jong sofa and the Ethical Fashion Initiative on handwoven pillows using Pique fabric from Burkina Faso. A percentage of the proceeds from both collections were donated to supporting educational development programs for underserved students in Atlanta, Georgia.
