Street Snaps at South African Fashion Week

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa - No matter the city, fashion week will always draw out one's style sensibilities - whether it is quirky, modest, ethereal, or somewhere in-between. Art director Lulama showed support for fellow South African Rich Mnisi, who recently was selected as one of eight designers to create a capsule collection in partnership with Woolworth's in an amber wrap dress over trousers. Fashion anthropologist Kenny Jules Morifi-Winslow gave a crisp white-on-white street wear look with petite leopard heels. Television presenter and radio personality Luthando Shosha donned a printed blazer and trouser with a peek of lingerie underneath while management consultant Cassandra Twala opted for neutral separates and a punchy red lipstick. Sisters Yoliswa and Nandipha Mqoco wore decorative headpieces, adding serious glamour to the festivities.
